MERE INFO OM VIGNETTEN:
Since the 1st of July 2016, all the vehicles registered from the
1.1.1997 need a badge to prove that they are “clean” enough to drive into the
“traffic restrictions zone”.
On the French website, the government writes that the Crit’Air badge is
not compulsory for all the vehicles. It means, you can drive in France without
this badge. But if you want to drive into the “traffic restrictions zones”,
which enhance for now only Paris intramuros (inside the Boulevard Périphérique),
you need to carry the Crit’Air to justify your right to drive. Otherwise, you
can be charged of 35 EUR from the 1
of October, and of 68 EUR from
of January 2017.
For the rest of France, other cities should introduce “traffic
restrictions zones” in the next months, and, we believe, the Crit’Air badge as
well, as a controls instrument.
The vehicles not registered in France cannot yet receive a badge. This
will be possible from March-April 2017.
To know if you may receive a Crit’Air badge or not for your vehicle,
